Meet Dr. Jensen

Dr Jensen Shelbyville Kentucky

Dr. Jensen is passionate about Orthodontics. What she enjoys the most is forming a lifelong relationship with her patients and creating the perfect smile. As a former orthodontic patient herself, she understands and can relate to both the excitement and nervousness that can be associated with having braces. She looks forward to meeting new patients and working with them to create the smile that they have always wanted.

Educational Background

Dr. Jensen grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, and later graduated from Transylvania University where she majored in Biology and minored in Studio Art. Her love of art ultimately fueled her desire to create beautiful smiles. She then attended the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and graduated dental school with high distinction in 2006. After graduation, she moved to Louisville, where her husband Mike was attending medical school, and completed a general practice residency (GPR) at the University of Louisville. She was then invited to join the GPR faculty, and taught until she began her orthodontic training at the University of Louisville. She graduated from the graduate orthodontic residency program in 2010.
